Sharkbutt is a hilarious cat.

I know that seems random, but it’s not.

I was reading obsessively, as I do when I find something I like, and I stumbled onto this post.

My life is about to get a whole lot more stressful and I don’t know if you noticed, I’m not even handling the existing level of stress very well. The overtime is over. The holidays are coming. I would love to say it’s not all about money, but sometimes, when you have little to no money, it is about the money.

Begs the question, returns to it again and again is the concept of surrender. There will never BE enough.

And without further stoned ramblings…

1.) Coffee ~ yea, I know it was hers too. But I drink a lot of it. it’s really happy.

2.) Music ~ where would I be without music? I don’t think alive. I was conceived on the Kangamangus Highway with Willie playing in the background.

3.) Babies ~ my kids make me happy every single day. EVERY SINGLE DAY. Nothing else has that track record.

4.) Words ~ Oh my God! Words make me ridiculously happy everyday. I love reading them, manipulating them,  interacting with them. I love to create, I love to EXPRESS, and it makes me happy to understand.

5.) the Ocean ~ When I smell the ocean, I hear the lullaby I sing my children…Show me the way to go home. I don’t want to be where there isn’t the Atlantic Ocean.

6.) Boston ~ big surprise right? It just does. It makes me happy. The shape of it, the history, the way it gets in your blood…its the happy existence between ghosts and people. The snobbery, the irrational anger, the accent. You can feel it. You CAN.
